Solid machined brass with soft, unstructured hand-dyed leather or goatskin parchment shade. The opaque nature of the leather shade creates an overall effect of compact ambient lighting well suited for libraries, corridors, dining rooms, etc. whereas goatskin parchment creates ambient lighting and mimics the surface of the moon.
